American actress Lisa Banes was born on the 9th of July, 1955, and appeared in a number of shows and films during her acting career.

Born in Ohio, she studied acting at the Juilliard School. Before landing regular roles on television shows, she actively appeared on Broadway.

She had regular roles on shows such as The Trials of Rosie O’Neill and Son of the Beach.

Lisa also acted in commercially successful films such as Gone Girl, Legally Blondes, Cocktail and A Cure for Wellness.

Lisa sadly lost her life in a road accident in 2021 at the age of 65.

She was reportedly hit by a scooter while crossing the road on June 14 in the Upper Westside of Manhattan near Lincoln Center.

She is said to have been on her way to the Juilliard School when the tragedy struck.

The actress is survived by her wife, Kathryn. The two lived in Los Angeles and did not have any children.
