Seahawks RB Chris Carson is retiring after five season Β

RB plans to retire from NFL because of this neck injury

He played professionally for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

Seattle Seahawks released Carson with a failed physical designation on Tuesday

"Ever since the first time I saw Chris on film, I loved his style", head coach Pete Carroll said.

The 27-year-old Chris played only four matches last season and was ruled out due to injury.

My mindset is never to give up, I want to see myself playing till I feel like stopping. Carson said at the time.

But unfortunately, Carson will no longer be back on the field due to a neck injury.

"It's a big disappointment," Seahawks general manager John Schneider said.Β

He tried a lot but unfortunately wasn't able to pass the physical test, seahawks manager said.

Carson finishes his career with 3,502 yards on 796 carries and 24 TDs.
