Dallas Mavericks guard Spencer Dinwiddie reported that he was treated badly during a match

Spencer Dinwiddie alleges that veteran referee Tony Brothers targeted some hate speech towards him.

According to Spencer, a Mavs teammate came up and told him that Brothers referred to him as a "bitch a*** mot***.

"Everybody's a competitor out there," "I understand it's the heat of the moment. I've definitely said swear words, but if I was playing against somebody on the other team and they said that to my teammate, I would be like listen, 'Hey, I'm right here, Dinwiddie said after the game.

Spencer said that the thing that bothered him the most was that the Brothers weren't direct with him.

"I'm not even mad at the language. Everybody has said things before when they are upset, sensitive, or hurt. That's fine,  but Just say it to my face, Dinwiddie said.
