Carolina Panthers Matt Corral suffered a Lisfranc injury in Carolina's preseason.

A Lisfranc injury refers to the injury to the bones in the middle part of the foot.

Corral suffered the injury when his left foot was stepped on during Friday's game.

Before his injury Friday, Corral completed 9 of 15 passes for 58 yards.

In 2020, Corral completed nearly 71% of his passes for 3,337 yards.

In the 2021 Sugar Bowl, he suffered from a right leg injury that knocked him out of the game.

Along with Corral three players of the Panthers were unable to return to the game.

Panthers will likely aim to get him back up and running as soon as possible.
