BTS Split Because Members Were Tired Of RM’s Dominating Nature, V & Others Felt Left Out?
Following nine years of successful collaboration, members of the globally popular K-Pop band BTS decided to take a break to focus on solo careers.
K-pop supergroup BTS on Tuesday announced that the group will be taking a hiatus so that members can focus and release their solo projects.
The announcement was made during the recently held FESTA dinner, a televised event where BTS members celebrated their 9th anniversary.
A report suggests the reason behind this hiatus is due to leader RM’s bossy nature. According to a source that the Kpop group is taking a break because of internal issues.
After announcing the hiatus through RM's long letter, member Jungkook made it clear that they are just focusing on their personal careers.
During a live stream, the singer Jungkook said that the band isn’t going to stop as a team and is not disbanding.
BTS member ‘V’ has clarified that the group was not splitting for good. He said they would reunite later but didn't give any specific timeline for it.
However, Hybe, the South Korean entertainment company behind BTS, released a statement that "BTS are not taking a hiatus. Members will be focusing more on solo projects at this time,"
